Arrangement reached between Canada and the European Union on organic products

The federal government announced on July 5th, the conclusion of an equivalency arrangement between the European Union and Canada.
This arrangement is the outcome of an extensive analysis of the Canadian and EU organic production and certification systems. It will enable companies from Canada and EU members to import and export certified organic products without additional certification. Certified organic products may carry now the Canada Organic logo, the UE Organic logo or both
